I cannot guarantee that yours is the same fault as on my Z but it is worth a try, last september my Z started over heating, I could see steam/water from the passenger side of the car in the area of the overflow bottle around the wheel arch and then back under the floor pan. Again similar symptons of the header bottle being full but the rad was empty. After several attempts to remedy the situation with out success I changed of all things the radiator cap and all the temperature/water loss went away.

Don't know why it might help but it's well worth a try for a few quid!

Thanks,

Chris,

Not sure what has happened with your motor?

But if you are seeing coolant/steam build up inside the car...check out your heater matrix. Mine went at 73,000 and I know of a few other people who have had the same problems at similar miles. Check for coolant draining itself conveniently from the passenger side footwell...right where the ECU resides...nice!

I drove mine until it blew, not funny, dumped coolant all over my feet and overheated the car at the same time. Expensive to get sorted aswell, heater matrix is about 100 squid but U pay another 3-4 hundred in labour getting the dash stripped and possibility of having the A/C recharged.

Just a thought...

Tim
