I've seen them. There are a few on here that have them. Personally not keen as they don't match the centre panel and the fit isn't all that great.

I think Yassa might have fitted some. If not they are similar and IMO look good.

yes they look just and cheap and tacky fitted to the Z as they do in that pic ! :x:

Seconded.

Don't hold back !! I hope they aren't the ones i think they are then? I still stand by my opinion of Yassa's ones though. His car looks good to me. On my car i've stuck with the stock ones, don't see the need to change what already looks good and suits it perfectly. Although i would like a nice new set of shiny OEM ones without the slight cracks!!

Sometimes you just get bored of being nice, or biting your tongue.

99spec are the only rear lights that deserve to be fitted to a Z.

99 all the way, thats what i want. I thought they looked ok but pics of 99 and then those together the 99 spec wins by a mile.

Too right fella. 'It's nice to be nice' though. But i also get where you are coming from. I've been biting my tongue all week and am stressed to f**k because of it! Virtual pint? :duffer: Cheerz.

Cheers guys. I must admit the 99 spec still looks best suited to the car.

I have these fitted to my car and they look great. I think they are superior to the '99 spec and they don't have that god aweful reflector in the middle of them. The fitment was absolutely fine and as long as the centre piece is well polished and shiney the match really well. Also delivry from the states was mega quick. Like 2-3 working days.

Yeah,

The reflector bit always bugged me. It does look a wee bit old fashioned.

Reflector is there for Legal reasons - Mot.

Wether the reflective nature of these lights will count for the MOT or not I do not know, but I do know its one of the reasons they look so bad.

Saddens me to see this cheap looking tat being fitted to Z's :(

each to their own i suppose. I far prefer these lights. Much cleaner looking and more modern than the other lights available. Even the '99 spec lights are from well........1999. These lights give a far cleaner and more updated look in my opinion.

MOT wise, these lights are perfectly legal.

All I will say is they look fine to me.

Each to their own I suppose tho ?

If you like them, then thats fine. Its your car and you are entitled to do what you want.

Some mods are considered a way bit shitty, ie; Veilside fronts etc, but these rear lights are not the worst items I have seen for a Zed.

In my opinion, and its only my opinion here, they look better than the stock lights before `99 ? :hang: By `99, Nissan had decided the 300 was past its sell by date so replaced it.

Its your choice mate, and only you can decide.

Also, and this is only my thoughts here, am I the only person on here that thinks the original t/t front end looks better than the `99 spec ??

More sorta retro ? I dunno ?

Alan.........

i did look at these for mine but to be honest i dont think they look quite right, bit to boy racer in my opinion i've currently got stock lights fitted and now i've replaced the cracked one can live with the scratches till i get the funds up together to go for 99 spec rear lights in my opinion the best looking rear lights for a zed
