Hi Guys, anyone know how to delimit a Volkswagon caddy van?

I think its a 1.9 non-turbo!! diesel, flat as a fart and electronically limited to 70mph, which is annoying and makes overtaking very hard.

Its a 2010 model if it makes any difference....

Not available in a non-turbo. It's probably the low pressure TDi that gives a staggering 75bhp.

Is it not just flat out at 70? Lol

Funny ****er, mine does around 110mph (on private roads)

Normally mate they are limited VIA the OBD port (under the steering wheel) If there is something plugged in there pull it out) Mine is also a 2010 model and mine will easy go above 70 with no issues.

Also they dont do a 1.9 non turbo, im sure they do a 2.0 non turbo though! Also they do a 3.0 V6 version as well (very rare!).

I take it its a company van, are you sure there isnt a tracking device on the van? I assume its limited because the owners so wish it to be? I woud find out the repercussions of delimited it before actually doing it!

Yep company van, but limiting it to 70mph borders on dangerous quite frankly. And its pain for other drivers on the road waiting for me to get out the way....

I'm sure there is no turbo, there is absolutely no kick, surge or anything. Very very slow!

Nope, you won't really notice boost on low blow turbos. The 1.7 DTis in the Vauxhall range feel as lifeless.

Oh i know you are all a pain dawdling at 70!, thankfully my astra has no such limiter!

The last non turbo van I drove were peugeot partners (yuk) and an early combo DI (joy!)

Despite that, it appears according to the vw website that the 2.0 isnt turbo charged, and rocks in a 69bhp... I'm sorry dude! The 1.9 is turbo charged and is 104bhp
