JeffTT has just fitted a set to my Z (along with an upgrade to drilled/grooved discs) and they are good.

Whilst not up to the standard of an expensive big brake conversion, they are good value and certainly an upgrade to stock.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Ive used them for a few years and apart from the brake dust they are good value for money and,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, stop the car, which is a bonus :lol:

When i put them on mine the squeal was unbearably loud! so took it back to the garage after doing a fair few miles wearing them in but it remained, thought maybe my discs were bad but they said its all fine and just that the pads are making the noise . Sorry for the negative post but i will not buy this brand again :)

Actually funny you should say about the squeaking, i just fitted new pads a month or so ago and im getting a slight squeak when i put my foot on the brake lightly, need to strip down and take a look as i didnt have this problem with my previous 2 pairs of mintex.

As above has anyone used them? Are they any good?

Thanks

good pads for the money, but squeel like pigs at times.

I've just fitted a set to new drilled and grooved discs but haven't driven the car yet! Hope they don't squeal lol!

They wont squeal initially, give it a few miles, if they are going to do it at all. I put on plenty of cooper grease on the shims, but deffo a pad to disc squeal, might have to emery the pads, might have a bit of dirt or grit trapped.
