Like all those additives - I reckon they are nothing more than snake oil....

 

......sure they "might" work on occasion but if you have an underlying failed component then you're wasting your money and possibly causing more harm to the car in the long term.

 

My advice, get a power steering specialist to take a look rather than pouring in some "miracle cure"

Can I get to where the hose's end, through the center panel between the head lights? If someone has a pic of that area it would be helpfull.UK spec has its own little oil cooler rad.

Had a good poke around in the bay from hell and found out I had been grossley over filling the pot by about half a jam jar lol.Thus not allowing for heat expansion so it was boiling out the top.Hoses are tight and appear sound.The dip sticks are crap so after every dip I cleaned and dried with carb cleaner till I got a true reading.
