is the plug at the back of the plenum? i'm thinking you might mean the dett. sensor bypass, if so, it's a 1 meg ohm resistor, maplins will have em, if that's the one your talking about...

Jeff at zworld put a resistor in a plug and said that it fools the ecu into thing it's getting a reading from a sensor due to the running like at n/a one he put that resistor in and it changed the car, is this the plug? All I have found is half of a resistor and car running like a bag of shxx. And no boost?

search for 'dett bypass', might help, i don't think i know of any other plugs that you put a resistor in, have you done a diagnostic? if you get code 34, and you have a plug at the back of the plenum not plugged into anything, i would imagine that's what it is, will put you in safety mode...

Thanks Tudor done a diagnostic on it and it comes up with 34 as you said, do I just replace the resistor and put the two plugs together or just leave disconnected with resistor in? Will check diagnostic after replacement, cheers Paul.

I'm not entirely sure, but you may have to reset the ecu to remove the previous code, i think you do that by disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours, someone should confirm that tho...
