can't quite suss why it's got that base on it, looks like it's just been sat on the boot, and what's that brake light all about? doesn't look much like a gto spoiler, must have butchered, erm, doctored it.... :)

The base is the active aero bit I think. I get the impression that it sits into a recess on the gto? There would also be more than one model of GTO spoiler im sure. (I.e different between active aero and non active aero)

I must admit im not a fan, I like the idea but it just doesnt really work for me on our cars.

I'm obviosly the only ones who appreciates things that are a little different on here lol.

I actually like the GTO spoiler on that silver Z apart from the base. I think if the base had been chopped then it would have looked pretty good so the normal N/A one will probably look a lot better

You do have some odd tastes from what I've seen! LOL. Do remember that being 'different' isn't automatically a ticket to something looking nice. ;)

I totally understand that lol. but "nice" is to each and their owns taste. I have seen some atrocities over the years too. The germans have a taste for putting 2 foot long front splitter things on their cars?? never understood that. can't seem to find any pics now though, one of the local garages had a ton of them on the wall for a laugh.

The base is for the active aero as this is a TT spoiler not a NA one, on the GTO the tail gate is shaped to accomodate the lip. Without it the active aero doesn't work, when I get the car sprayed there will be some major work to cut, shape and blend it to have a better fit until then it is fitted like that, it's better than driving round like a tw*t in a Corsa with a primer body kit.
