a couple of weeks back i put a St georges cross flag up, higher than my neighbour, he put his on his tree, mine was flying proud, off the top of my chimney.

im not a great footie fan, but do like world cup games, but i feel i will be taking the flag down very shortly, been out today and wanted to watch at least the last half. why did i bother turning the TV on.

I place alot of the fault on the media. The media big England up too much! Too much expectation for an average side! Yes they play well at club level (a much higher level than the world cup) but that is because they have a mix of good quality foreign players around them who can do different things!

 

Its a shame that Rio was injured tho, I would have dropped John Terry after the first game he was absolutely shocking all tournament.

 

I just hope England play like that when we play you in the Euro qualifiers!

well this is my first year of "supporting england and football in general. " i have waited three months and put up with all the hype about this "golden team" "the ones" and tbh im totally disappointed. i am as excited about football as i was before the world cup and tbh that means i couldn't give a rat arse about it. appalling display and VERY overpaid school boys.... at least they can return to there million dollar mansions now then and back to there 100k a week jobs!
