The rear end of a Z, with no rear bumper on, must be an import.

Reason - I am changing the UK rear bumper for a JDM one and I need to know where the number plate holder needs welding on :cowboy:

thanks in advance! :batman:

Welding on a number plate holder? Why do you want to waste your time doing that? I don't even have one.

Thanks Daz, yeah they should do it!

Si - you don't have one? Is your plate just stuck to the rear bumper recess then? Yours should have one, surely? I like changing the plates over to Jap ones for photos so would be easier to unscrew one and fit the other like

I think Si is right Baz, the number plate holders look ugly and go rusty, so just velcro your plates on and off

Yeah, mine did have one. Took it off when I had the car painted. There's no need for one if you're going to stick it on. I don't like screws/number plate holders on the rear. Untidy and unnecessary.
