Says Pearl White...doesnt look Pearl white in pics

No, I think it's probably solid white. The arches and sills...from the photo look reasonable. If they are ok, the underside tends to be pretty reasonable.

You would be suprised how many I've stripped for a visit to the crusher that look clean from the outside.

Like this one. I wonder what the skirts are hiding

Judging by the silly vent, probably a field mouse, or maybe even a water vole. :wack:

Famous last words :D

Bit of useless trivia for you - the purple colour they use for the PT Cruisers (deep cranberry) has the colour code PMT

....this is pretty good value IMO!

I'd consider it if I had the space on my driveway! Nice little project and wouldn't be hard to make nice.

That doesn't look a bad car; nothing that a little TLC couldn't put right! Although I agree with Legrath on the colour - I don't think UK spec cars came in pearl white....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Actually dose look a nice original car. The front strip of grey hasnt been colour coded - generally a good indication that its not been crashed on the front end!

Correct, they didn't. Only ever came in red, black, solid white, grey, sapphire blue and for about 6 months, in pearl yellow.

I think solid black was a limited run to. I seem to remember reading it somewhere they only did it for a few months.

Most seem to be metalic black??

Yup - thought so; and the yellow was only during 1990/91 depending on when the first few cars were registered.

Not sure; but for the series 2 UK cars the colours were (316) Arctic White; (GL1) Panther Black; (AJ4) Flame Red; (KL1) Tempest Grey Pearl and (TK3) Marine Blue Graphite Pearl.....

.....according to the 1992/3 sales brochure!!
