just seems the logical choice for reliable BHP...stuff the V6 burble that sounds like a V8 with 2 plugs down:tt2:..straight screaming six is the way forward and a turbo change while you peel the potatoes:yes:

***EDIT*** NAH WRONG ENGINE..its a V6:rofl::rofl:

well it is on auction so that is obviously subject to rise

....i do wonder how he got the engine tho

Why would somebody sell a £23k engine for £2.5k?

that`s only the current bid..not the final price bud.

It was only a matter of time before one of these came up for grabs.

Lets be honest though, what are the chances that a 'Z' owner is gonna' win this auction!

If I was a betting man I would say that this will go to a company like SUMO POWER as a spare for one of their competative cars or snapped up by Tim Webster et al for a mad 'never done before' R32 GTR conversion for Drag or Time Attack.

With the expected BANZAI magazine cover headline going something like

"The Heart of Godzilla Beats On" etc, etc.....

Not that I'm being pesamistic but this is gonna go for at least £18k.

Not meaning to generalise but 'Z' owners do seem to haggle over a couple of quid for a rusty set of used coilovers, so laying down that much money in a single hit is a nice thought but......

At least we can take solice in the fact that there's one R35 GTR out there (for the time being at least) that aint as fast as a 'Z'

Come on the VG30DETT :punk::punk::punk:

go ask jurgen on the supra site it seems this engine is suffering from oil stavartion and a lot are going kaboom for the same reasons so its not a bullet prove as everyone thinks

I used to work on jurgens imports, his gtr blew "cruising past a car" at 60mph, in first I reckon. :laugh:

I send quite a few kits to jurgen :)
