thanks gary, your z looks nice on the photos, actually the split rim wheels are similar to the sort of wheels im after think they look great. im hoping ownership doesnt prove too expensive as i think it might be. as with everything though if you can get advice there are ways. how do you find ownership?

Welcome mate,

Just to echo the above, i've only heard good things about Jimmer.

You could also check out the Zedworld website for prices. (Zedworld also spoken of very highly by all on here.)

Enjoy your new toy, and don't forget the pics.

Hey Buddy welcome to the club!

Try a mongoose system pretty common but a nice size [not to large] and a lurvely exhaust note to boot.

As murt asked where are you in Bristol? [i am in downend]

Hey Durant!

Was that you I spoke to a few weeks ago outside thte little Tescos in Bradley Stoke? (I had a Frontera at the time.) Yours is the one with the tan leather isn't it?

Well, just after I saw you I sold the Funtractor and bought a TT the next day!

I've spotted you since on Bradley Stoke Way, (there's a post in the 'Was it you?' forum), but you didn't see me.

Am keeping my eyes open for you.

I might be wrong, but did I see you advertising the Zed for sale a short while ago?

Of course this might all be completely academic as you might not be the same person!!

yes it was me what a small world, pleased to hear you bought a tt have to post a few pics on so i can see it. how much did you get one for in the end?

Pic's here...........

It's not perfect, but I picked it up for £2k and other than a few niggles I think it's a good 'un.

I've been making the most of the good weather and getting the top off at every opportunity.

So am I right in saying I saw yours for sale a couple of weeks ago?

Cheers,

Rod.

ETA, if you're thinking on getting the cambelt done, see if you can get it booked into Zedworld on the 2nd July. Me and a member from Wales are planning a little convoy up the M5 to Tamworth on the Friday morning. ;)

yes i did have it up for sale but thought better of it as i love the car. was going to sell on for a profit and buy the tt but im happy as its a nice car. just bought a spoiler for it and need that fitted and sprayed and plan to get some new wheels as well.

yes i will be up for the 2nd july but im in leeds on the 1st july and coming down south on the 2nd july. how much does it cost on the cambelt change and yes i want it done as i have virtually no history with the car as well so slightly worried about it

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Although the guy I bought it off swears the belt was done just before he bought it 2 years ago the all important piece of paper wasn't present. I wanted to have it done sooner, but next Friday was the first time I could fit it in.

I think the cambelt job is about £285 at Zedworld, but you'll need to book an appointment. Check the website out, http://www.zedworld.co.uk there's a list of prices for common jobs on the Z32s.

Alternatively, there's a mechanic who's a member here who's user name is Jimmer. He's local to Bristol. Send him a PM, (You'll need to subscribe to do that), and see if he can help out.

I'm loving getting the roof off in this weather. Much of the time the roof only goes on if I'm leaving it overnight!

I'll keep an eye out for you!! ;)

PS, if you fancy a turbo, have a look through the Z related chat forum. There's a bloke on there has had an aftermarket turbo system fitted to his car which increases the power to 350 BHP if I understood it correctly.
