atm my car rattles about like nobodies business. Half is down to the prop im sure, half is down to the suspension. I haven't had the wheels off yet (lazy me) but I'd punt a guess it has tired stock shocks and lowering springs. The front is offset about 15mm lower than the rear as is often the way.

I'd like to have height adjustable suspension but only 1 set of coilovers I've had in the past have come close to comfortable and those were Tein HA's (like superstreets with more damping adjusments). I had a set of superdrifts but never got a chance to try :( . The rest were sh*te despite being big reputable names, hugely stiff to the point of flexing the chassis dangerously on road camber.

Basically it's come to the point where I want to keep the car a similar height to what the front is at now, but will never have the guarantee springs will evenly lower all around so want to go for coilies. What would people recommend, preferably with first hand experience? I dont mind the odd judder over potholes but really would like it comfortable as possible! My dads uzz32 has air suspension which rocks  low as you like and silent over bumps.

Bc coilovers mate. There spot on and cannot be faulted in any way. height adjustable and they have 32 damper settings.

I swaped my old Teins for these. :cool3:

The MeisterR have just come out with a new coilover range to replace there old version, which has a good reputation anyway.

They were doing a group buy on the other Z site, which has finished but has said they are open to doing another.

The MeisterR spring rates for the Z are 8kg/mm front and 5kg/mm rear, but one of the spec options a few have taken is to go for a softer 6kg/mm front, 4kg/mm spring rate, which would certainly help with ride quality.

Some of the crap drift spec stuff is more like 12/10 or even 14/12, way to harsh.

I've gone for these so will let you know what I think when they arrive, hopefully today!! :)

i havent got Meister R or even been in a car with Meister R coilovers but from the honda civic forum (car i drive) everyone that has bought them are very very pleased and always recommend them. You also get 1 years warranty if anything goes wrong, Jerrick is in the UK so everything will be dealt quickly. So when i save up thats what im going for.

I fitted the previous range of MeisterR nad have been very pleased with them so far. Very well manufactured with plenty of adjustment. Compared to other makes I think they are great choice!

Agreed, the product has a great reputation from the smaller JAP cars, plus Jerrick is a car enthusiast as well as engineer and doesn't give any b***$hit when it comes to selling his product.

well i have a set of tein ha's and im supprised at how good the ride quality is

i had a set of apex coilovers on my s14 and they were harsh
