I've had this bumper for ages, and decided its time to do 'something' with it. :cowboy:

Some Z's I see with scarab bumpers look brilliant (Daz's & Nick's for example), whereas others dont look so good. I think they suit dark colour cars better, which is good as my car is going 'a dark colour' (not decided which yet!)

So please air your views whether you think it will look good or not, and help me decide. One plus point is that it'll give me far superior air flow to the intercoolers, but I've also got carbon fog light ducts to go in. The nose panel is another 'unsure' mod.

ps. I know its not fitted on properly :whistling:

Baz, a 'front clip' is the car from the base of the windsheild forward. Basically chopped up.

Far enough away from you! :p

I think you`ve been to the states again?? I bet your 18 stone now, full of big macs and Denny`s syrup pancakes :scared:

First part is correct. But other than a trip to Fuddruckers and a few Subways, I ate sushi and enchiladas mostly! I'm kinda lucky that I don't really put any weight on no matter what or how much I eat. :)

Had one Denny's, but that was only because it was the meet point near Malibu for one of the LAZ32 meets.

i agree on the front clip by the way

thank you... I spent long enough trying to find a '71-'73 Trans Am front clip and thats what it was known as then!! :sneaky2:

http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.phoenixgraphix.com/transam/c8790ta1.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.phoenixgraphix.com/transam/1987ta.htm&usg=__ZTG3n5eRLnkGBx8F-04K23RDV7k=&h=232&w=500&sz=94&hl=en&start=21&itbs=1&tbnid=eNuEKexSmVGI8M:&tbnh=60&tbnw=130&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dtrans%2Bam%2Bnose%2Bcone%26start%3D20%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-GB:official%26gbv%3D2%26ndsp%3D20%26tbs%3Disch:1

Note the "Nose Cone Bird" for the trans am decal. I've had about 7 nose cones ordered from here and the states. I made the mistake of calling it a bumper the first time and got laughed at.

We should change this to the Clip or Nose discussion thread lol.

Anyway, back on topic GO FOR IT. If not, hurry up and give me the new front already lol

No, it's a fookin' ugly peice of fibreglass for transportation of rodents!

I BEFORE E EXCEPT AFTER C :tt2: :tt2:

Stock bumper looks crap usually down to bent lower lips, BUT with some aftermarket front lips from america and japan they can look tremendous - there's something 80's about them which really goes with the cars lines, the 99 spec is nice for some but on the other hand it doesn't flow quite as well as the original design.
