Been working on the LED conversion for the rear lights over the weekend and before I go any further with it I need some opinions on what would look best on the radius part of the light segments.

Hmm, that sounds rather familiar. Wonder where I've seen that idea before!!

Maybe you should ask the people that actually designed the lights rather than just the guy who stole somebody else's ideas! :nono:

I just hope none of you bitch about the lack of after-market parts for these great cars in the future. Why should anyone waste their time and money developing items only for others to rip them off.

You've only yourselves to blame! :headvswal

No one realy stole anyone's idea. The people that designed the lights were Nissan themselves. The LED light issue has been around for a while. The only other that's on the market are the ones from Clearcorners. These look to be a far better built and designed product. There are problems with clearcorners design and these combat that. It's called product development. It happens the world over....deal with it. We'd never get new products to market if it wasn't for competition and product development. We'd all still be driving around in Ford Model-Ts.

Lack of after-market parts in the future? Most styling parts available for the Z32 in the UK and European markets are absolute drivel. The market is flooded with fibreglass clap trap, nasty lighting and a conglomerate of ill fitting and ugly bodykits.

If there was only one company designing and building new Z32 products...we'd make hardly any progress with developing new products. Competition is healthy. It enables product development, increases quality and furthermore introduces new ideas. Innovation is far more important and these are more innovative, appear to be better built and will be a lot cheaper than the competition.

So you argument suggesting that 'we are only to blame' is completely and utterly dumbfounded.

It's obvious to me you are extremely erudite Zedwizz, and on many levels. Think you might just have put someone firmly in their place. Jealousy and envy are not attractive traits, the complete opposite to your research, design and manufacturing. Top work.

Thanks Daffy

Zedwhizz you are a star matey ...yes it would be the full kit . minus the rear fogs and reverse which i allready have ....what is included in teh front kit by the way ??

this is very much appreciated ...by ALL on here the work you have put in to give a LOT of peoplr what they have wanted for years

Steve

Thanks Steve

I'm putting the kits together this weekend so i'll let everyone know asap.

I'm after a set of rear light LEDs too mate. Are you able to install? I really don't relish the thought of taking my 99-rears apart!

:)

Thanks Si

I'm snowed under at this point in time with making LED reverse/fogs and if im going start making these rear lights to im not sure i would have time to fit tbh. might have to give up my day job to at this rate lol

Ok no problem. If these become big over here. I am happy to become an agent in getting them into the US. Have a huge wealth of contacts.

sound interesting

I know most of the big distributors in North America. I could probably sell out large batches of them. If you let me know how you would want things to go.

Would everyone interested in buying these rear light LED units in kit form please can you put your names down so I can get some idea of numbers and put a price together. Maybe I can get a discount from my suppliers for bulk ordering the components.

Hope that makes sense

Remind me if I’ve forgotten anyone

OK chaps....

.....as this is fast becoming a "group buy" situation and there is a clear trading implication; I think this should be put on hold until Znut has granted his approval.

I'm going to temporarily close the thread pending a discussion with the rest of The Committee; and Znut has made his final decision.

I hope you understand; and thank you for your patience!

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
