Ok , I know what most are going to say,I dont like it too, but here me out!!

I dont like a stock rear end and need some sort of rear valance! so i purchased this little number below with the idea of cutting/chopping/adding to make it resemble the beautiful twinz peru rear!! but to be quite honest i cant be arsed now

So... do i splash out and buy the real deal? or have you guys any suggestion of what will look good?

I dont really want to spend all that money and buy a twinz and with my car being black i will loose most of the detail.

I`ve looked at other diffusers from other cars and thought of smoothing it on this bumper i have at the moment, my mate at the body shop would finish it off to a high standard?

pleaze help!! and yes my quads are a little low at the moment:tt2:

cheerZ boyZ, wasnt expecting anyone to like it!!! Sarah say`s it looks boy racerish :turned:

I don't like it. Too square and boxy looking - doesn't suit the lines of the car.

Ok, in all honesty. :)

You want = Stock TT fascia with Stillen GTZ extension, Type 2 skirts and Type 3 rear extension.

The current front bumper just doesn't match the rest of the car. Greddy type bumpers never match stock bodies Z32s, not even ones with skirts. If it had a Strosek kit on, I'd say yeah, go for the Greddy. But nope, it doesn't match.

The two different stillen rears. Top one is modified for a different exhaust, but with the skirts and front bumper extension it all matches and is subtle. Especially on a black Z.

CheerZ Si, Just the rear i wanted an opinion on, not the whole car , i love the rest and wont change it, my front bumper is beautiful imo, dont really like that silver one, fugly!

But i will be attaching that stillen extension to my TT some day, i think its sex!!!

So its either the twinz or stone chip removal at the moment

Thanks for your input, its always interesting what you have to say :chris:

The WW rear is fugly as hell. The winglets on each corner look like growths.

If you want the nice version of that, you want the Kaminari rear. MUCH more slick and pleasing to the eye.

That`s more like it!!! smooooooooth :tongue_smilie:

That is THEE bumper. Get yourself some Stillen type 2 skirts, TT front bumper with GTZ extension and your car will look absolutely stunning.

The Kaminari bumper wins any fight IMO... is that the same (or similar) as the car mad one? As you know Daz I like the one you bought, but wow what a huge gap for the exhausts!! I think it will look good on and painted though.

yeh, similar to car.mad one but he doesnt do a short wheel base version, or i would have one! Its hard to find swb stuff for the right price :crying:

Daz needs to launch the one he's got. Or at least modify it to get rid of those horrible drop down bits.

Yeh , that was my original idea all along, chop the bits off and make it smooth without making it look like a dogs dinner, i will have a chop tommorrow and then probably end up launching it when it goes wrong

Im not to keen on the Vs one. Its the one i have now but i chopped off the middle sticky down bits so it looks less busy :)

you can buy the LWB smooth one. all you will need to do it chop off the end caps. cut the length to size. then add the end caps back on and blend in etc.

Much easyer than trying to mod the Vs one

Can you send me a rear view picture of your car pleazeeeeeeeeeee:flowers: the pics in your gallery dont really show what youve done

Beauty is always a subjective thing..

I think the front end looks the business, but the rear bumper just doesnt sit right. If it were me I'd go for the smoothed rear bumper and keep it looking stock.

Its a shame really cos the rear view is probably the weakest aspect of the car, but the most common view that people get!

Less is more, I say

Still a great looking machine whichever way you go..

I couldn't disagree with you any more. IMO, the Z32 has one of the prettiest and most distinctive rear ends of any GT car. It's completely ruined and made weak when people fit round rear lights to it from a Plaxton Beaver

Could't agree more with Si, the rear of the car looks great (even better with 99 spec ) round lambo/ferrari type lights totally ruin it for me

Here is the only half decent pic of the rear.still hard to see but looks much better without them, but like i said i think the smooth would go better with the kit you have.

I think it suites mine well only because of the rest of the kit i have. i wouldnt have it if i had other skirts etc

CIMG0302.jpg

Reckon smoothed bits other side would look good too Dave. You thought about doing that?

You mean chop the other bits off?? na im not overly keen on how the std bumper curves up so you see the back boxes.

It squres it off a little keeping them. so from the side it still looks nice and low to match the skirts etc.

If that makes sence :lol::lol:

Also it would narrow the bottom end. making the spoiler look odd because it so big.

or should i say it would look top heavy :)

both of those look hideous imo:death:

Dude, your taste is questionable. I saw what you did to your blue Z!

The silver one has the wrong exhaust for that rear bumper. It's the same bumper as SuffolkZX. He has the right exhaust for it and it looks nice. Easy on the eye, nice shape.

i dont like it lol don't think it suits the car

think this one would of looked better with your quads :tt2: but everyone has different tastes of course

byk6_4_lge.jpg

didnt that use to be in Thunderbirds.

Si, u need to get past my blue one! It looked better than when I originally bought it.lol.

Will check out other pictures but this both are not nice u posted, the middle exit exhaust. Not nice.
