Thanks to Munny975 for sending me a PM when he had seen these on ebay, I have been messed about something wicked trying to buy a set of rays wheels.

I really liked these so bought them, had to pay £250 for shipping as well but think they are smart. Might silverplate the gold bits not sure yet. Will take 8 weeks to arrive

Just hope my big brake set will fit with them? if not I will have to sell them again but I do really like them and looked at 34567654 sets of wheels.

Very nice Martin, thats the seller I said about when you first started looking at wheels. Legrath got his through him and loads of other good feedback from him.

very nice, yep guy I got mine from. Took 7 weeks to arrive.

Bit concerned about those offsets.....

:drool:those wheels are sick

they are around 3k new. youve good a stupidly great bargin there

Lovely wheels! But you're gonna be having to take your car back to the bodyshop to get those babies to fit! Shame they're not a staggered width.

Very nice mate

I'd question the offsets too, the dish doesn't look big enough to match what they're quoting. If the offsets are correct you are going to mess up your bodywork!

*****cks if they dont fit I will just have to sell them again! I dont understand all this stuff do you mean they might poke out to far for the arches when they have the tyres on?

You may have to sell them. They will poke out way past the arches. The lips will need rolling, even with dialed in camber and stretched tyres.

They are a beautiful wheel, but the fitment specs are not ideal for the Z at all.

i reckon you would have to flare the arches too maybe... thats an aggresive offset for a skyline gtr (prolly what they were removed from) let alone a zed. they will be nearly an inch further out of the arch than i would consider a sensible offset for those sizes.

not all bad though as it sounds like you 'shouldn't' lose money on them to resell. just a pita when its been so hard to source a style you like.

Thats what i was thinking......the advertised offsets dont seem to match up with what I can see in the pics.

If offsets are correct :

the fronts with stick out an extra 13mm than what would be considered flush

the rears will stick out an extra 14mm than what would be considered flush

* this is based on Funkysi's offsets and widths - which is about the max you can go without arch modifications and stretched tyres

For fun I compared to my setup :) Bare in mind I have done a lot of work stretching and flaring the arches front and rear. Skinny tires would help but would defeat the point of going for a big build if you can't put it down.

the fronts would stick out 10mm less than mine

the rears would stick out 14mm more than mine
