Hello guys

I'm right in the process of putting the new set of kyb agx on my zed.

Problem is that i found, on the rear shocks on top, 2 grey electrical thingies that i have searched on forum and read that they stifen suspension with 1 click of hand brake.

So now?

The new kyb agx dont have this... sould i only leave them pluged but not in place? Any problem may come from that?

Thanks!

Just unplug and leave the connectors dangling - it wont affect anything.

From mu searches i read (on forum) that theese conectors are used when parking brake is cliked 1 time to stifen the rear shocks.

Not shure why or how or even if i should have done 1 click on pb when driving :)

But anyway the stock rear shocks have the tops diferent from the KYB so need to unplug the connectors.

^^^^^^^ did this on mine no adverse effects

My current UK one has no issues, the rear shocks were leaking so I swapped for some Jap ones I had so did away with that system.

UK only

No, all European models. North American models also came with a touring/sport suspension setting on the shocks.

I was thinking that these 2 "outputs" are only controlled by a switch in parking brake or ecu has something to do with it? Reason i'm asking is because maybe some unused wire on ecu could be used to trigger some event.... (not shure what we miss on zeds that could be useful but maybe for something like 2 stage nos lol)

Lol, I meant to say my UK had em and jap imports don't, I know nothing of left hand drive cars
