My Mrs is forcing me to change my car as its done a few miles now and she thinks I need a change. Im in love with my 996 turbo and she is a high spec and totally reliable car so I need a new DAILY driver. What would you go for, take into account reliability, poseability, etc. Not sure on colours yet. I used to own a Ferrari and it was a bucket of puss so I am a bit worried about trying Italian again.

Save yourself 25 grand and get a nissan R35 GTR! practical, realiable, and probably out run most of them with a little tuning!

And knocks spots off the R8

I think shes spoilt :lol::lol:

Dont go fot the lambo. they look nothing on the road. to squre and flat and its living on its badge imo

Porsche is ok but everyone seems to have them

R8's are very very nice. i love the spyder  but hate the led's

Aston Martin ftw. Practical sound amazing and really comphy to drive. also looks really classy over the rest

The GTR will out run them with no tuning needed

Yeah but its a nissan. looks and sounds pants to imo

Yeah its fast but thats it for me:yawn:

If you have the cash i wouldnt even bother looking at a porsche, they are as commin as arseholes, everybodys got one these days!

Lambo, and no questions asked please.lol!!

I think for daily running you'd be best off with the Porsche, you get the added bonus of knowing what you're buying and knowing what speed bumps you can get it over etc.... lol

blooming good point there mate lol i listed as in (pref) to own, but for a daily runner it would be the porsche no question for me

get a nissan GTR, will be better for speed bumps than a porsche also.

gtr is a sexy car but you have to explain it to people, nobody says "whats a lamborghini" shame though as the r35 is amazing.

I almost agree but I have to say that the letters "GT-R" are actually very well known now and people usually know the car that you are talking about. This is due both to the huge press coverage of the GT-R as well as Gran Turismo of course. Mind you, a Lamborghini is still a Lamborghini!

i would also get a GTR over those, as i like a car thats an underdog and looked down at (like a few "nissan" posts above) but when you thrash all of the above, in your "nissan/datsun" its a hell of a buzz. if not it would be the lambo, but i wouldn't be looking at those cars if it was me choosing

Nissan certainly messed up the design, i.e. it could have been a stunner (as was the Z32 in 1989) but instead it's just a new and attractive coupe/saloon.

Even a 370Z with the GT-Rs abilities would have been a much better combination.

Love the GT-R though, despite the average looks.

DB9....classy everyday car great for days out and business and you can leave it parked up without any hassle unlike lambos R8's etc
