...I've done all the easiest pieces (glovebox, panels around centre console and lid), just got doors, forward panels and rear panels to do. I've struggled enough with the smaller pieces, mainly trying to get the :censored:ing corners right and Ive just taken a look at the next piece Ive got to do and thought sod it there's no way I'm gonna get that right :hammer: I just don't have the eye or the patience to do this sort of thing.

who do you reckon I could take the remaining plastic panels and material to and just tell them to stick it all together right - something like a small craft shop?

PS. finally got my handbrake gaitor done though - the old warn piece of sht is in the bin and its got a sexy new one

looks tidy fella keep at it man you can do it get some shit hot glue and a hair dryer to soften the stuff up it stretches lovely then.......

I paid £2500 to have mine done, but my front seats were brand new so they only had to put some white stiching in.

I was really pleased with the job but he did say the 300zx is a tricky trim because of the angles and not to use Leather especially on the door cards and rear quarters. I went for a really good looking synthetic leather with an alacantara to match.

He did say he used a hair dryer to mould the corners and edges?

right then it's all done and dusted and back in. i think it really transforms the look of the car  . it's a shame that it doesnt match the blue of the seats - i ordered the seat kit about 2 years before the card trim and from a different supplier. never mind looks heaps better than tweed :hurl: (oh and don't worry the steering wheel is actually over hard right!)

thanks all - I was just casting an eye over it on the way back from work this afternoon and I have to say again that it really transforms the car - makes it feel like a real sports car (as if it wasn't anyway!)

Haha this thread spurred me on to do mine, i managed it with some of dunelms own heavy duty spray glue and some black 'leather' lol which i agree is better than that tweed crap. but yeah deffo looks the part nice job and your seats look sweet too im still stuck with tweed :(
