Hi every one, I'm new to the site and I might be close in buying my first nissan 300zx twin turbo just need to know who are the best insurance campanys for this type of car?

i use admiral multicar very good deal on two cars if you have a runaround and use the Z for fun.

dan.:cool3:

yeah got mine on admiral on the muticar also

I just went quote hunting ready for June, and Admiral came out on top.

lynbrooks can do classic car policy (2nd car limited milage etc) with chaucher for under £250 fully comp (no-no claims required either).

Another vote for Admiral. I guess it depends on age too, admiral was £2k cheaper than anyone else for me!

Just had a look on confused.com, I'm 28 years old, 6 years no claims bonus and only 3 points for speeding, the value of the car is £6,000 and the cheapest car insurance was Admiral at £785 fully comp & elephant.co.uk at £790 fully comp, do you think that is good? or do you guys know a better insurance company that does an agreed valuation and will do it a bit cheaper I was thinking of about £600

im 21 with 1 years no claims, paying £1100. OUCH!

anyone reckon i can get it cheaper on classic car policy?

Is it jdm? and n/a or tt, i think the amount of time you have been driving could have some reflection on it im only slightly older than you with same no claims bonus but have been driving since i was 18 and pay 820.00 fully comp, i renew this month though

...and oh if it's your first post besty place to tell us a little about you and your Z is the newbie section :)

the main deciding factors I found (other than NCB, age, points, etc.) are: is it import? is it modified? is it your main car or a second car?

My answers to these are yes, yes and main car.

When shopping around I tried most of the above companies and although many people have found a good deal, one or two of them wouldn't insure me because it was too modified, or that they only do classic policies and the Z would have to be a second car.

im 23 declared mine as a second car garaged limited to 2000 miles annually 1 years no claims no additional drivers pay about 1k throught admiral gota quote for next year with a ticket for a bald tire 900 bucks

Admiral multi are good, but A-Plan and Adrian Flux are also good options; I think you can qualify for calssic insurance under the age of 30...

Confirmed lol, not sure who the quote was with but i've had the offer of classic on my fiesta mk 2, at the age of 27
