Are there many Z owners in ESSEX?

 

I have passed a few on the 414 frantically making their way from SE back to the A12.

 

I know of one in Colchester but were do Z's go at the weekend, Southend or Clacton??

I was making my way back from SE at about 6ish last night (tuesday). Flashed another red 300 presumably on a late one to SE not far from Danbury on the A414.

 

I dont venture to Sarfend or Colchester if I can help it.

Anytime between 18:10 & 19:00 would be me, I waved back as apposed to flash.

 

I use my Z daily so I am on the 414 every day especially as live down the road from SE.

 

You get to see some intersting Z's. As the Summer comes upon us I suspect Pete will be up late testing some Z's, he's always about after hours.

Yeah, I'm one - about 20 miles west of SE though.

 

See a met. grey import occasionally as I'm passing through Harlow. Have also seen the SWB Blue soft-top heavily tweaked manual TT that SE 'created'

 

Used to be a red UK model parked in Harlow, but that disappeared a while back.

 

Seen a Met Gray import near Maldon but not sure of owner, I have seen same car near Does corner near Hatfield Peveral.

 

Last week I saw a modified Black Z with big exhaust in Brentwood passing me at traffic lights. Also a Red Import in Brentwood in same place.

That Blue Z, is that the famous metallic convertible Z that SE did??

 

I have seen this myself around the 414 but that was about 10 months ago now.

 

Pete was featured in Max Power with this car sadly for Pete.

Yep, that's the one - I saw it in various stages in their workshop.

 

I also saw a dark coloured UK spec as it followed me through Hatfield Heath once.

 

Incidentally, the same week I bought mine a woman wrapped one round a tree on a country road - may have been that bit on the A120 near Dunmow where all the big messes happen.

Sound like the, one I have seen from Pieces to complete Sex machine. A good example of what Pete can do when he puts his mind to it.

 

Remind me to avoid the 120 these days, If I remember a Mclaren F1 died on the 120 last year near the Braintree bypass.

 

Pete took me out in a Z which he described as 500 bhp+ and the owner spent 12 grand on engine (most of it parts). This car was quick, I was sliding around the passenger seat at opportune momements. If you have 12K floating about and a Z visit SE.

 

I am sure you can get 500 hp for less but I know Pete likes reliable engines that don't come back to him in a week, hence wacky price.

Is that it for Essex Zs??? I'm in Colchester... I've seen a black Z and a grey Z around town, but other than that they are a rare site in Essex!

 

for 12 grand you could keep ure z and buy a second hand ferrari mondial you have to be on some wedge to spend that kinda money on just an engine

 

I live in Southend and there is a nice Black UK 300 just down the road and a red one in the town centre.
