Just though i would share my picture`s with you lot! I made this myself using fibreglass and body filler, but i had to give it the bodyshop for the final finish, it looks great in the flesh, not perfect but nealry :thumbup:

I had my headlight inners done at the same time aswell, nice and shiny :yes:

That looks really nice mate!! The piano black finish certainly has a classy updated, almost German, look about it. If you do the side pods, then I'd say do the lower dash panel (the one with the warning lights) as well. After all, they kind of blend into one another.....

 

......as for the auto shifter, I hate all aftermarket versions for the ZX. The stock leather series 2 onwards is the best one.

 

But if you want to change, then how about the chromed surround from an Audo or VW? Failing that, the latest BMW or Mercedes consoles with leather gaitors look good as well. And I'm sure you could get a piano black knob to match your handiwork. This is the one on my daily driver to give you an idea.......

CheerZ Richard, I have been trawling e-bay for ideas and have thought of something from an audi/bm/merc they seem to get it right, love your daily drive! is that a slk? my girlfreind loves those!

I have a spare gaitor and will try and experiment with different ideas/ styles

CheerZ Gaz, the headunit is a hong kong special, overall its great, picture is awesome! bluetooth is great, radio is fab, tv doesnt work now as its analouge and the sound quality is satisfactory all for about £112 delivered, also got sd card input and reverse camera inputs too, not bad
