hi as per title, where do you guys get replacement core plugs? im going to remove some of the flashing from my spare block and i need to remove the core plugs, whats the best technique to do it please?

Buy them from Nissan, punch the centre of them with a screwdriver this then lifts the lip and you can pry off.

cool thought so just wanted to double check. i have found core plug sets on the bay of e but whould there actually be any difference? they would all be just pressed steel right?

Always bought them from motor factors Gaz, as long as the size is correct they do the job at a fraction of what the dealers will no doubt charge for them.

Is it really worth not going oem, if there is a slight issue, then it is engine out again :thumbdown:

I agree - genuine parts are built to better specs & for something so cheap that is so important I would rather have something that I know is the absolute correct size! :yes:
