The hub of the Zed, presumably after Japan.

5th May 2010

Seen:

White Zed St Werburgh's (Parked)

Blue Zed turning on to Park Street. (I let you out)

Red Zed (You flashed me by Southmead Hospital)

Yeah i know the pub you mean, it did look a bit sh*te (the car that is) Although the pub's not much better. :scared:

didn't see the wheels, as i was face on, and changing a CD and on the phone (bluetooth!!) at the same time.

Multi-tasking's not my best attribute. :confused1:

White Zed St Werburgh's (Parked)

St. Werburghs huh? It was probably abandoned!

  • 3 weeks later...

I spied a red n/a outside the little Tescos in Bradley Stoke about a week or so before I bought mine.

Had a chat with the guy and he'd literally just bought it out of town so might not have been the one you've seen.

I must admit though, particularly from my aspect of being a transient, Bristol seems to be the hub of all things automotive, (with the possible exception of Nottingham being the hub or all things Omega/Senator/Carlton/Monza related!). I've spotted a smorgasbord of automotive porn in and around Brizzle. Even the guy that sits across the office from me has a Datsun 240Z. (Very nice it is too!!)

One of the blokes that drinks in my local down here owns a garage specialising in Austin Healeys, he's got a Holden HSV himself and has shown up at the pub in a RHD 2007 model Mustang.

I find it very entertaining! :)

i must admit i do like the Mustang, had an SRT-10 til recently, and it was the b*llox. Did think about getting a mustang, but decided that I couldnt justify the fuel as i had LPG on the SRT-10 and could claim the VAT back as well.

I'll probably get called kn*b now for saying i like american muscle on here!!! :surrender:

Not from me!

I've owned............

-1977 6.6 Litre Trans Am. (Complete shed. Drove it for a while then it was broken halfway through resto' as it wasn't worth it after all!!)

-1976 4.0 Litre Firebird Esprit. (Bought for spares for the previous T/A. Drove it for a bit then stripped it to it's last nut and bolt for the bits I needed and sold the spares at a profit!! :) )

-1979 4.9 Litre Turbo Trans Am. Indy 500 Pace car Ltd Ed. (My first proper introduction to T-Tops. Totaly outrageous and great fun but pitifully slow. Had an appetite for engines.)

-1970 5.7 Litre Bullnose Firebird Esprit with T/A kit. (OK, I bought it as a project and didn't have the funds at the time so swapped it for a........)

-1973 5.7 Litre Mercury Cougar. (Rough as a badger's ar5e and came with a very fettled engine and drum brakes all round. you had to make an appointment to stop!! Great fun though until it consumed one of it's pistons. Sold my house halfway through rebuilding the engine so had to get rid. It's still running around central Scotland somewhere.
