Hi all, yes another newbie!!! My name is Lee from bristol,I have had z cars in my family since the eightees. From 240s 260s a z31 a z32tt and a 350z.

I am just looking for inspiration for my z31 na.This car has been in my family since 1988.Purchased by my late father (it was a demonstrator so only a few months old) The car has been off the road and mostly dry stored since 2001 and was left to me in 2005. It now requires full overhaul.

I have done very little due to other commitments but now is time to get stuck in!!!

I want to keep it looking stock apart from a set of large rims and subtle mods but want it be super quick.

Its been in my family for so long i will never sell it so this will be a long term project with the best of everything i can afford. I would love to fit a z32tt,

rb26 or

v8 twin turbo or even rebuild and turbo the existing lump.

Any photos, inspiration or advice on the engine conversion or rebuild would be appreciated.

Thanks Lee

Hi Jimmer,

Buisiness a bit slow at the moment but struggling on!! UMMMM good job were not all the same as alex!!!! Do you think you can do something with my z31. Its been stood so long it needs either a engine swap or a rebuild. Wouldnt mind a tt conversion???? i have seen it done but its a bit tricky for me!!! Have you tried this conversion yet? or could you rebuild the z31na engine ready for a big single turbo?

Hi Yewcheck, Im Based in bishopsworth bristol, The 260 was owned by my uncle(as i was too young to drive back then) it started electric blue with wolfrace slots and loads of 70s pinstripes then ended up white with a 1 piece targa one off bodykit and a janspeed turbo conversion(that never worked properly so was eventually removed) I did go to a couple of meets with the old man in the z31 early 90s but thats about it. Also there were two of my dads mates that had red 240zeds converted to small block chevy power. One had ferrari taillights. Both were really clean. One was found to be the car used in one of the haynes manuals,The owner was considering putting it back to original as he was informed it could be quite valueble ir returned to stock, Im not sure if he ever did.

Hello mate.

Welcome to the club. Hope your project works out for you and all goes well.

Look forward to seeing some pics of the z31:thumbup:
