Tried for ages to find the year of manufacture of my Z (Jap import) finally got the info from AndyP (and confirmed by Nissan when I asked at the parts department)

 

anyway just browsing the Oz site and came across this, checked it against Andy's info and it looks correct....

You Can also find the date stamp on the seatbelt, boot carpet, rear plastic mouldings ( light cover) in the boot and obviously taking your chassis number to the local Nissan dealer, they will enter it on the computer database and be able to give you the year of manufacture.

LOL... yeah, did all that.... tags had been cut off the seat belts and the interior had been re-done (in leather) can't exactly be sue what hasn't been changed other than the VIN plate... the rear plastic moulding said Nov 92.... not exactly true..lol.. (well maybe that's when they where manufactured)

This would be a lot quicker that going to Nissan.... lol... (which I did as well, phoned them actually :))
