just moved house this last week, and last night at just after 10pm an almighty racket shook the house set the dogs off and woke all the kids :censored: my (as yet) un-met neighbour was being picked up in a massive chinook helicopter from the field directly behind mine, the thing buzzed over the house at least 3 times i'm guessing he's some sort of high ranking military guy now :2guns:....this was anti-social on an epic scale...lets hope he doesnt commute to work that way every week :death:

anyone else got noisy neighbours?

I live near Benson (big helicopter air base) and around this time of year they do a lot of night flying and exercises in pumas and chinooks - can get pretty noisy - even sets the alarm off at the youth centre sometimes and i have to go and sort it out as some ridiculous hour.

I'm sure that if he continues to get picked up after 10pm you would have some sort of case to take to environmental health for noise pollution and disturbance etc.

i have 1. she is an alcohoic and she does things on purpose to annoy the wife when i am not there!! she didn't like it when i went round and threatened to rip her face off and she went quiet for a few days then she just starts up again!! :censored::censored::censored:

now i'm not the most patient person and i have some very nasty female relatives that are just itching to pay her a visit :death::death:

I would take it further than that if it carried on. Contact the ministry of defence and the home office, newspapers, how much is it costing the tax payer to pick up one guy, total waste of money.

If you complain at this time it will get sorted quickly hopefully. Nobody wants bad news like this going out at election time! Worth a try. I had been complaining about an agreement my organisation was waiting on and this has taken months, funnily enough the day after the election was announced in my inbox I find an email saying everything will be sorted out and we will get funding, what a stroke of luck!

if you get into an argument and he says "i will give you a kicking" FFS dont say "yeah, you and who's army?" lol
