Agreed -tap the brakes a few times to scare em, then drive really really slow to wind them up some more. If they are that desperate to overtake - they will.

best to do nothing, not worth the hassle these people have nothing to lose. some will do anything to act hard in front of their mates, best thing to do is to keep out of there way.

yeah, to be honest i just tap it for them to back of if they dont i slow right down, basically wanting them to over-take as i cant be bothered with that crap of some chav trying to show to his pal his 1.2corsa with a backbox can sit up a 3ltr tt's ass.

Well dont do what I did when i was 19!!

I overtook a metro with a lad and his girlfriend inside, I overtook carefully and gave enough space and pulled in neatly in front, he gave the :xxx: sign and i was actually surprised and stunned at why he was doing it and what i had done!! I got out of my Cavalier and went round to the front of his car and he jerked towards me, I jumped on his bonnet and on to the floor and kicked his door so hard that the door card flew off and hit his face :laugh:, he wheel span off and took my reg down, 1 week later i got arrested for gbh, but got let off with a caution but had to pay £500 for a new door and door card. :sad: I wont do that again .

good thing mate, even if i had 3 of my mates ive walked away as not worth it, you feel crap knowing you could have seeked revenge but not worth it.

 

plus these things happen often even on the motorway, how many times can you fight back? just enjoy the drive thats it.

same happened to me only doing about 10mph and i was having a very bad day. the old git put his middle finger up at me in his bmw, only i was in an old banger so i drove into the side of him. lol

if a wnkr is tailgating me i'll give him a couple of warnings by tapping my brakes, then i'll let the car decelerate, then if he still doesn't get the idea i just drop a gear without touching the brakes and watch him sh!t himself as he slams on the brakes.

as for gestures and signs, i suppose im lucky and not received (m)any, but id just ignore it and enjoy being a normal guy and not a half-wit

In my younger days i would have chased him down but now i think there is no point.

 

On the other hand though, a similar thing happened to me a few months back. I was considering following him but then some traffic slowed me down and he was driving like an arsehole weaving in and out of traffic. I saw the general direction he took on the slip road. I was enraged as he pushed my car with me and my girlfriend in it into the path of another vehicle coming off the sliproad.

 

I was lucky enough to see his car a few days later and made a "stinger" device to leave under the tossers wheels, and it was dark so he wouldn't be able to see it. :)

 

Wouldn't have normally been bothered if he hadn't endangered our lives.

Sometimes i tap my brakes so they slow down if they dont get the message i just slooooow way down to nearly a standstill :tt2: But people like that are best ignored. Either accelerate and leave them behind or just let them past, thats what i do most of the time now. Cant be asked to risk getting hit, stabbed or shot the way things are going.
