I was in my m8 lancer the other day and he has gauges and pods everywhere. To much to be honest lol! Anyway I was wandering if there is anything like that you can buy for a na zed? Obviously boost gauges are out but do things like air fuel ratio meter or apexi afc devices work with a na?

Cheers

I plan a water temp, oil temp, and and oil pressure gauges in a pillar pod to the right

and then an apexi-multichecker :D

I'm really struggling finding a space for all my electrical goodies at the mo, I have a boost gauge on the top steering column shroud, an a pillar trim with 2 pods and 2 gauges, then moving to the centre trim I already have a DVD player & seperate screen so that takes up both holes, but need to find space for my Apexi RSM, Apexi AVCR boost controller, Apexi SAFC and Blitz FATT DC2 turbo timer  I want them all but really struggling for ideas, so if anyone has any suggestions lol... ;)

Mine :D

ooh i like them.

I'm really struggling to find room to put a 42" JVC plasma screen, knew i should of gone for the chevy dayvan lol

But on a serious note. top of cluster shroud, in a fish eye look, pillar down drivers side door. then the 3 clusters just above the radio shroud.

That's 8 gauges. cant see you needing more than that to be honest

Only place to put gauges neatly are to have DIN mounted ones. Keeps the dash free from clutter. Nothing worse than having stuff all over the place. Eyesore.

I would consider an Aftermarket water temp gauge essential !

Stock one is innaccurate and non-linear.

Agreed 100% - Keep a nice stock interior.

What does an apexi-multichecker do? Also I suppose like most apexi stuff its not available anymore?

I have a pillar pod on the right for two gauges so far but I was thinking of getting the one that goes under radio hole.

Are things like apexi safc, hks afc and hks air fuel ratio regulator any use? Would I not see the benefits in a na car?

Cheers for the ideas

yeah you would see the benefits in an NA, they alter the fuelling across the rev range.

Are they easy to use and fit? Is it more of a case of being sensible and not an idiot lol!

the Apexi SAFC that I have cost me about £40, you have to splice into the wires going to the ECU, then its just a case of twiddling knobs to increase or decrease the fuel at 5 seperate rev range points.

One of the the apexi multichecker just sold on ebay for £90 buy it now. It was for sale when I clicked on it but buy the time I read the information it sold :headvswal. Do you have to have a specific car kit? If I was to buy one from a toyota would it fit a nissan like universal?

Cheers for the driftworks link
