It depends on the bracket matey. There are brackets for the 350Z disc 324mm x 28mm, and brackets for the Skyline disc 324mm x 28mm, but with a different offset. If you have got the brackets from Daz^^above^^ then you will require the 350Z discs. That is correct isn't it Daz.

Jonce,

I'm copying/pasting what I wrote some time ago in the "other" EVO caliper vs disc thread:

OK - for all of you who are looking at using Mitsu EVO Brembo calipers, this is the brake disc size that you'll need to get:

EVO 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 with Brembo calipers: 320mm x 32mm discs

I can supply DBA discs in these sizes. These are replacement parts for the EVO's so the off-set will be different to Z32 discs. However, if the caliper relocation bracket has been machined correctly then this will be taken care of.

You're looking at the following prices:

Street Series (slotted): £287.50 / pair

4000-Series (slotted): £356.50 / pair

Shipping (per pair) within mainland UK/Northern Ireland: £17.62

I think that the best way forward would be for someone to buy a set of DBA discs, get a front hub and have the machine shop fabricate the appropriate bracket and fixings. That way you know that these will fit.

FWIW, I'm not sure whether all EVO Brembo calipers are the same. They might take the same size disc but that doesn't mean that the (caliper) mountings are the same.

Of course you can go with either GTR or 350Z sized discs (ie, 324x30mm) but the off-sets will be different in each case. Basically, whatever discs you get you'll need to get the disc, caliper and hub over to an engineering firm in order for them to fabricate the correct caliper mounting bracket.

Using standard evo lines. I had some nice braded ones to go on but they where too short :detective:

Sorry jonce for the hijack of your thread.

Paul you saying that the evo lines will fit without any modifications, but the braided ones were too short to fit and standard were longer and would fit ok?

I'm asking as I need to get braided lines and not sure what and where to source them.

Cheers,

Ant

The Braded set I bought to replace the Standard ones did'nt fit the Evo Calipers, so ......

Evo Lines fit without modification

Standard lines are too short

Braded lines that replace standard are too short

I got some standard evo used lines that fit fine, they have a spring around them.

If you relly want me to dig them out I can measure the lengh so that you can see if you can get some braded ones made up? (storing parts at moment)

Thats great, thanks for the info. No need to go hunting for them I can get measurements off my standard lines.

Thanks again for your help,

Ant
