with my lpenum removal and gaskest and bits and pieces etc i was looking at the forum on smooth engine bays as i would ideally like to have alot of other stuff out of sight and showing pretty much just the plenum and cam covers.

im also looking into getting some skins but i was wondering if any of you knew what in the engine bay could be removed or relocated to make my engine bay as tidy as possible :)

i can see some of you have very nice smooth engine bays with little shown and wondered if you could advise on what you did for that result

thanks guys

The pipe on the very far left with the bleed point is the Clutch bleed piping. This can be removed and replaced with single braided pipe from Master to slave (zcentre sells one).

The cylinder device is for the hicas and can only be removed if you get rid of the Hicas.

So - what's going on with the piping in this one then chap's?

not too sure about the u-bends on the piping... looks like the hot air would go straight back through plenum lol

but then a closer inspection reveals a little pipe coming off them........ but surely that would mean that hot air is also going TO the intercooler..

wouldnt this setup make intercoolers pretty much the same as non existant

i might be miles off but its the first time ive seen something like this (due to new on the car scene and not from proffesionalism - moreso lack of)

for those who DO know what is going on here. care to explain to others like me what this setup is for?

hmm....a very curious setup. I have no details on it, just a pic i found previously. Seems to have done away with IC's, so it must be running some sort of Water/Meth injection setup.

If anyone recognises it then I would love to know more.

the little pipe coming off will be for the bov's, is deffo an intercooler bypass, so as legrath says he must be experimenting with a substitute cooling method.
