To be honest mate,I wish I'd bit the bullet and got Jeff & Jamie to do the work.

I did some panic buying "engine from djpeterj" then decided to go other route so ACL bearings, crank ,oil pump from USA, seals, thinking I may be able to recover some costs by selling the engine on, but me being a knob have maxed out financially with purchases (soon adds up).

At the end of the day labour costs scare the s**t out of me and it was the only way I could think to keep my costs down. (After the amount of grief I'm putting myself through and head scratching decision making what bit of hair I have left, will be gone).

Same old saying mate "You make your bed,You lie on it" but mines mighty uncomfortable at the moment and not giving me much sleep.

Sure it will all come good , I hope. Thanks for advise mate.

Well once my car is on the road, ill give you a PM find out what stage your at, if no work has been done and you can supply the engine hoist. ill come do you an engine swap, all it will cost is a cuppa coffee and some conversation hows that sound? and you can lend a hand when i need a socket handed to me. plus you can over see the work and make sure its done to a high standard. cant say fairer than that.

What can I say mate ,your generosity is unbelievable. I couldn't be more grateful .As you know I don't know what I'm doing at minute and don't want to

step on brother-in-laws toes as he's also been so good to me. Your an absolute star mate.If the saying "what goes around, comes around" is

correct mate ,you'll never be short of a helping hand.

Once again can't thank you enough.

Will keep you posted.

I just like helping people matey, cant help it, its in my nature. was a bugger to get my business up and running i tell you lol. had to get out of the mind set of doing PC's for a coffee and start to charge. but mechanics i love it, annoyingly you need paper work to prove you can do it to get a job in that field of work, just never found the time to go get that paper work. so just keep it as a spare time thing.

Hopefully ill get my car sorted out pritty soon, and once done as i said. ill give you a PM and we can arrange something. just a cuppa coffee and a conversation when doing it and ill be fine. but if you can get it done in the mean time go for it. but the offer will still be there once my car is road worthy.
