My exhausts have been on the way out for a while and yesterday they started to blow quite bad, so today after all the Mothers day crap, I set to work and took the zausts off, I was very surprised how clean she is underneath, I jet washed all the mud and crap off and exposed a near new underbody, a little rust has formed on the suspension arms but that simply rubs off, so she is now going in the garage with a blow heater and ready for waxoyl, not bad for a 15 year old jap girl :tongue_smilie:

 

Exhausts are quite good really, they have blown around the centre boxs, so will be getting welded until some stainless one`s get made

You know what though Si, I`m not sure about them?? I have made some tinted covers to go over the fog leds and they look OK, but the smoked indicators look a little old looking, My ex boss came to my house this afternoon and he is a big petrol head and hated the look? so i dont know what to do now?, I have the new head light inners all ready to paint gloss black, but I`m still unsure of the stealth look :huh:

I think once it all matches, it'll look a lot better. :) I find the crystal clears look really cheap.

Yeh as Si said, they may look better when they all match? I need to open my headlight anyway as a nice fly has conviently died inside and started to rot :huh:

 

Are you putting the ducts in the indicator or fog holes???

Can we get any for the indicator holes?! I think they are more useful than fog ones lol. May go for both :tt2:

.....and I also prefer the UK spec indicators. The crystal ones just don't seem to match the other lights and look out of place IMO!

I did my TT in the garage on axel stands over chrimbo and it still stinks now, my bird went mental, all my tools were covered and i ruined my jumper, i hate the stuff, but well worth doing :thumbup:

Im not going to use wax oil. i use tetrosol or something like that. you paint it on with a brush and it drys like rubber. Happy days :thumbup:
