The other day Atlast (sean) popped over to help me with my exhaust, after chatting he had ordered some new front shocks as it was thought one was knackerd. I took his zed for a drive. All i can say it was like riding a bucking bronco, really bad bordering danger to drive

He has been doing them today and i returned the favour to help him.

On removal of the 'bad shock' it was quite apparent that this was about as bad as it can get.

No this has not been taken at a funny angle, the main strut should be totally straight, as you can see it clearly isnt.

Word of warning to us all. If you suspect you have a problem with your shocks, investigate why!!!!! and sort it out.

wow, thats bad? must of hit somthing in the past? wouldent of thought it would go like that through old age would it?

iv noticed the pistons are quite thin compared to some cars iv owned, my bc coilovers have a similar size piston too, i wonder why?

Just replaced all 4 shocks and there all knackerd no resistance at all , thought it was a wee bit bouncy lol

Mine weren't like that but rear was like a trampoline!

Sean as said before your zed was like a bucking bronco, cant believe it was that bad. glad you got it sorted mate, mine next to locate the knock on the front susupension.

And now the car is 1" higher after the new shocks , and braking is 100% better :tank:

knock could be the tension rods stu?
