Got lots of peeling laquer on my polished lip wheels.Anyone got any ideas of how to strip the laquer from the lips it is more like a thin plastic clear coat.Tried thinners and wonder wheels no good. Was going to try nitromors paint stripper but wasnt sure if it whould destroy the polished finish.thanks taff:balloon:

if it does affect the polished finish, just polish it up after. Try on a little section first, it may just dull the surface and a buff up will do.

dont use paint stripper, the caustic will etch into the polished finish and youre screwed

If it is peeling bad, maybe a high pressure washer will do the job
