Hi guys, Can anyone tell me the weight of a Border Fuel Rail and Nismo 550 injectors??

I'm having a slight problem with a parcel that arrived with nothing but newspaper in it:no:, I'm of the opinion that the items were not placed in the parcel as there is no smell of petrol and used injectors would leave a faint smell on newspaper:huh:.

I'm not accusing anyone of inappropriate behaviour but feel that the items may have been placed in someone elses parcel as he sent a few at the time. He is of the opinion that the customs opened the parcel but the parcel was securely wrapped with no sign of tampering( I work for The Dept. of Justice and know a thing or two:wink: )

The parcel price to post to Ireland was £10 approx. this was for a box of newspaper, so I'm asking would anyone know the weight of the above items so as to get a price from Royal Mail for postage, thus letting me know if the items were really present at the time of posting, A bit long winded I know but this is going on since the 5th of Feb:no:.

Thanks in advance..

Richie

That weight would cost me between £14 and £44 depending on class:thumbdown:

The weight of the actual parcel when sent should be on the label on the front, simply have a look then weigh the box and the paper. If it is less than this you know it was taken in transit. If it is the same you know it was never posted with anything in.

Well yes and no - with the famous paypal - print your own weight/label system [example] you can create a label/charge for any weight and stick it on the box yourself - it does/should get checked at the post office (but not 100% gauranteed) - and then only if it's a recorded delivery - and even then... I am sure there are ways around [sending an empty box with an incorrect weight recorded] if one is so inclined - sadly. :taz:

the item was insured and i have put a claim in with the royal mail to get the £350 back when you claim you have wait 20 working days after it is posted and have now summited the claim on the 2nd of march with the relivant paperwork and they say it can take up to 90 days to deal with it as you can see i am not ignoring you also i am trying to get the exhaust pipes sent to you by city link as it seems the cheapest option unless you have any ideas

good to hear from you redbaron so you are saying the parcel was tampered with and the fuel rail stolen as you have put in a claim to Royal Mail but how come according to Riche it arrived securely wrapped and unopened some thing not adding up as we all can see. When the Royal Mail investigate and ask the recever of the parcel was it opened your claim will not go through how will Richie stand then. Your responce will be appreciated
