Hi all,

 

Whilst I have hands free phone operation in my daily drive, I don't have it in the ZX. So I was thinking about a CD head unit with built in Bluetooth - anyone have any experience of using one?

 

As I already have a JVC head unit & CD changer, I thought this would be the easiest option; as I don't have to upgrade my boot mounted 'changer...

It doesn't look bad for £140 - plus it looks like it doesn't need any extra kit for hands free phone use, like some other units do.

 

What do you reckon?

I get my new Passat on Monday, 10 plate, yay! Anyway, I'm pretty sure the upgraded stereo system I added as an option has it. Will let you know.

You can type in the number on the screen leave the phone in your glove box.

I`ve got the same one!!! I cant recommend enough! great picture, good sound, and every time i get in my car it finds the bluetooth straight away,The sound from the phone comes out the car speakers nice and loud and the touch screen is beautiful, I cant get TV on mine now though as the analogue signal has gone in the north west :huh:

 

you can fit a camera to these units too, so a rear or forward video view would be great.

 

Cheap and well worth the money IMO.

Well, I decided to order the head unit to see if it's any good.....
