UK Sales of ConZult hardware begins ...

Hello all,

Finally, the news you've all been waiting for:

CONZULT HARDWARE IS NOW FOR SALE IN THE UK

Initially, we'd like to organise a groupbuy of the hardware (software is freely downloadable). Closing date of this groupbuy will be Sunday June 30 2002. Delivery of the units will start around the middle of July and the costs are as follows:

Groupbuy:

5+ units: £235 each (incl. p+p in the UK)

Individual purchase there after:

1 unit @ £250 (incl. p+p in the UK)

The cost covers the ConZult hardware, instructions, technical support (from the manufacturor), shipping from continental Europe to your door in the UK.

If you are interested in participating in this groupbuy then please send me an e-mail at dannyzaat@yahoo.co.uk with ConZult in the Subject line, please include your delivery address and daytime contact number.

Payment (in full) will have to be received prior to the closing date (30 June) and can be done by cheque, made payable to Mr Danny Zaat and sent to the address that I will e-mail you when I confirm your order. I would like to apologize for not accepting electronic payments such as NoChex or PayPal because as most of you know I've recently been hacked and a lot of money was taken from my NoChex account. Hence I no longer use electronic money transfer facilities.

For more information and screenshots of the ConZult in action, please visit http://300zx-twinturbo.com. Alternatively, visit the Zedworld homepage - http://www.zedworld.co.uk - the official distributor of ConZult equipment in the UK.

Basic requirements are: Laptop minimum spec 366MHz, 32Mb RAM, free serial port, Floppy drive.

Should you have any further inquiries, please feel free to contact me directly on the above provided e-mail address.

Best regards,

Danny

Danny is it difficult to be used? This kind of software is only for monitoring right? i mean it can not change any parameters in the ecu.

It's basically a full on piece of test and diagnostic software derived directly from the actual Nissan Consult computer used by the Technicians at Main Dealers.

It does all sorts and I think you can reset ECU settings etc. with it back to base settings.

Put into perspective that an actual Nissan Consult costs thousands to buy and that's if you are lucky enough to come close to buying one! 250 squids for this is a must IMO!

;-)

Danny, the correct link is:

http://300zx-twinturbo.com/conzult/left2.htm

With the ConZult you are able to not only monitor virtually every sensor in the car, but it will also allow you to do socalled 'active tests'.

With these active tests you are able to change certain parameters (temporarily) mostly for troubleshooting

purposes.

More info on these active tests can be found in the service manual ( http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi )

for example see section EFEC (engine fuel & emission control), page 54 to 169

I tried to make the software as straight forward as possible, but it requires (some) technical knowledge on what you're actually looking at.

If you have any further (technical) questions please direct them to me. (eric@300zx-twinturbo.com)

Eric,

Is the a/c section specific to series I or II, as they are different ?

Andy, the ac-section on the conzult is not specific to a MK1 or MK2..

the difference is mainly that the MK1 A/C-ECU has a very slow communication protocol and they fixed that with the MK2.

you can let the software know wether you have a MK1 or MK2 A/C-ecu in the settings screen.

Q. Does it work OK with aftermarket ECU upgrades e.g. SE or JWT chip?

Timmy, it works perfectly with ECU EPROM=upgrades (JWT, SE, Schraeder, Strosek, Supershit/chips, etc).

I'm currently trying to make something in the software that 'recognises' chips and shows what chip you have..should be handy for those that don't know what kind of chip is in their ECU.

-Eric

Eric

Can you tell what brand a chip is from the code on it because I have a "Mystery" chip that came in a socketed jap ecu.

It would be interesting to know what it was.

Paul

Paul, currently I only have the codes for Nissan, JWT and Schraeder/Strosek.

I'll first have to find out the codes from other tuning companies (like SE, Mines, kakimoto, etc), before I can make the software to recognise it.

So I'm afraid it won't be able to determine your chip (yet) apart from a hexidecimal codename..

Cheers Eric, you are truly the Z God! Love ya! wink.gif
