knock sensor advice , whats best ?

Giving the old girl a good check over , I found the common problem , the knock sensor, code came up . Well do i reposition on one of the rear plenum bolts

or bypass with 1k resister ? whats the best in the long term ? I have a spare sensor, so cost is not a problem. Thanks for any advice.

    i relocated mine mate, been fine since, probably the easiest option, there's a thread or a sticky on here somewhere, some people will say it's better to bypass it, but i'd rather still have the sensor....
