Just found a bloody great hole on the rear of my swb, its on the lower part of the sil behind the door just infront of the wheel, where body panel curves under the car. Sorry i know naf description, anyway my question can this panel be bought or do i just get the body shop to patch it before fitting the bodykit and respray? Ive just covered it in a bit of black duct tape for now to hide it.

Id get a pic but the duct tape will just pull all the paint off now.

Cheers Craig

This guy on eBay sell replacement panels, but they arn't cheap..... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/300ZX-Z32-REAR-WHEEL-ARCH-SILL-REPAIRS_W0QQitemZ230426603090QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item35a67eee52

But get it repaird as it's a structural section and will fail the MOT. Also have a proper repair as the inner sill section could very easily be as bad (he also sells them)

More often than not they rot from the Inside out, so have it properly inspected and budget for inner sill a well.

When having it repaired make sure its seam welded.

pretty sure it`ll be same size mate

no, that area is the main length difference on a SWB

LOL! Take a look at my rebuild project thread for more info!! :helpsmilie:
