Lovely and warm here right now! It was snowing when I took off from Heathrow, but by the time I arrived in Cape Town....t-shirt and shorts!

 

Certainly enjoying the summer again!

Nice. A lot of my Family live in Cape town, my dad grew up there.

 

I however have never been.

You should go Dave! I drove from Cape Town down the coast to Hermanus yesterday and the roads are fantastic, not just smooth, wide and traffic free, but the scenery is epic! On par with the drive over the mountains in California into the Sonoran desert.

Haha! Well, it's been another hot and sunny day here. Those that wanted photos...just 2 I'm afraid, nothing spectacular.

Nope, I'm on time for the world cup. I have no interest in football, so now is prime time for me and the people I'm with! ha!

missed the cricket by a month aswell....whats wrong with you...all this amazing sport you're missing out on

Actually I do like Cricket, that I could quite happily have come here for. Half the reason I am out here is for a wedding actually, the rest of course, is holiday! Mid-summer here, so very nice. It's wierd to think it's close to freezing back home. Not that I am complaining or anything!

 

Just sat out on the veranda now. Sun is very strong around midday, so in a bit of shade as my sister has fair skin...dark skinned me just goes brown! Think we're all off to the beach again in a while.
