conzult connection

Thinking of sourcing a Conzult for my 300zx, if anyone has one can you explain how it works and where the connection plug is inside the vehicle. Please keep it simple

connection is down the drivers side to the right of the gas pedal & up a little if that helps lol its a program for your laptop which reads nearly every sensor on the car & shows up any faults with them plus sh*t loads of other stuff timing , cylinder readings it does loads

There is another diagnostics programme too, Its called Nissan datascan, although not as indepth as Conzult, its a damn good !!! and loads cheaper!!

Thanks for that, so if I go for say the Datascan system , what does that entail, some sort of lead to plug in to the socket under the dash and then presumably another unit and lead that plugs into a laptop. I gather that these can be sourced from Blatz.

No worries bud, Choose which laptop connection you would like to go with either USB or RS232, IIRC some lads had a few problems connecting with USB but that was probably the laptop, The lead is complete with the car connector on one end and your chosen laptop connection on the other and wired up at one end is the controll box! simply boot the software on the laptop and connect to the car, Nissan data scan looks quite impressive and seems complicated at first, but quite easy to use when you get the hang of it, You may get free with the package `nissan data dash` its another small program that runs on a in car pc and is basically real time dials showing boost pressure oil pressure ect, a bit like the dash on a new skyline!!!
