i think we have different ideas if aggressive offsets. yes i know this is not an 300 and has some arch work but this is what an very aggressive offset is IMO.

^^^^^^^ that's just silly IMO

I think yer mean fookin nuts mate! must have suspension as hard as a brick...

Each to their own eh i guess.

smithy

just to let you all know,,, its yassa jnr that is the aggressive offset dude,,

Agreed, there's aggressive and there's just plain stupid.

THIS is attractive aggressive offset. Mild arch work, aggressive fit wheels, tucked, clean body lines. But still with plenty of error for suspension travel and drivability.

This, IMO, is what perfect stance and aggressive offset is all about. None of that nonsense above.

that car does look very nice and the stnace is good but i wouldnt say the offset/stance is particularly aggressive. if you look at the last picture you will see the wheel sits inside a bit at the top!. with the right wheel tyre combination an aggressive stance will show the wheel as outside the arch while the tyre remains in the arch. this can be achieved with the right combination of tyre stretch, arch work and camber.

It is aggressive, trust me!

Having the wheel outside the arch and the rubber inside, looks just as daft. Stretched tyres is not a good look and is best left for the VeeDubbers. Not big GT cars.

IMO, JimmyTT has got it spot on. Flush wheels, very tight up the top. More aggressive than the black shorty, but that's party due to drop and camber dial. Jimmy's is VERY aggresive. Anymore and it would start looking pap. He's got it spot on.

sometimes stretched rubber is needed:tt2:

so you dont like this then?

you have just gone against what you previously said as j1mmytt has stretched tyres on his...

I don't mind it, Edgar's car is too OTT for me, the arches are completely ruined on it. It looks tired with the wheels almost touching the arches and it sitting that low (looks too played with and unnatural)....and the arches themselves are all buckled and ruined. But, it looks pretty cool. MUCH nicer than that horrible looking S13 you posted.

Hardly. There's very little stretch on his.

but going back to the topic... you said that 9.5j et+32 would be "aggressive". edgars offsetts are 18x9.5 +8 19x10 +10 and his do not stick out too far and the arches have not been played with to an extreme amount.

Yes, his arches have been rolled to destruction!!! They are really distorted, you can't tell from the photos.

+32 with a 9.5' front will still give a slight gap, but it'll look neatly tucked, not too dissimilar to mine. The rears will actually need some work.

I dont like that it looks stupid imo. You can go way to low and make the wheel arch go out of shape compaired to the wheel. ie no gap at the top and a massive gap at the bottom between the bumper and the wheel and the sill.

Looks like a GTO all fooked up :no:

so your saying that 9.5j et+18 (j1mmytt) is aggressive and perfect but you say that 9.5j et+32 is still aggressive and will look good. there is a fair amount of difference between those two offsets. now i would say yes you are right that there is no doubt that j1mmytt has an aggressive offset and it looks the nuts but the et+32 wheel is more of a average offset than a particularly aggressive one. now i know madmax does not want loads of arch work but et+32 just isnt aggressive IMO.

and thats juat W ank :lol:

mine are 32 or 35 and mine are 100% with the arch with 285s on and looks spot on imo

You've just stated my point. Jimmy has had arch work. Madmax hasn't and isn't likely to since he's spent stupid money on a Grade A respray. You have to bare in mind that Madmax's arches have not been pulled, so you can't compare the two offsets like for like. No, it won't be as aggressive as Jimmy's, but he's had his arches pulled and it's decked on coilovers. Madmax's isn't. I run +20 on an 8.5" front. It'll sit similarly to mine which is pretty flush as I am only dropped by 30mm.

Been lowerd since so there is 1cm gap at the top looks just right just to give an idea

Well he can't go too low. Bodywork is now of paramount importance, not how far the wheel can be pushed out into a rolled arch. Lots of variables.

The wheels in original post are 10J et+32 not 9.5J , and would extend 1.2cm out more than Car.Mad's pic and 2.5cm more than stock.

Its not an Average offset for a 10" wheel, and would require work to make it fit without rubbing.

The above would be aggressive, but J1mmytt's is very aggressive.
