I have recently had my autobox replaced with a tested 2nd hand one and cant seem to get reverse to work with the new gearbox. Does anyone have any ideas as to what would cause it not to work in my car even though it worked fine in the donor car? All the forward gears work just no reverse. Is it possible the mechanic just missed an electronic hook up or needs to reset the the cars computer?

have you done the autobox diagnostic mate? search its on here somewhere (how to do it) might chuck up your answer to the above
