Please tell me I'm not the only one, have had PS2 since Crimbo and it's the only game for me. FIFA 2001 = monkey giz! SSX rocks!!!

 

Got Starwars Starfighter the other day...non impressario! SSX cool!

 

Does anyone know when Granturismo 2001 is going to be out? I read March 2001 but hey...that's gone bye bye!

I agree SSX is superb. It's the first game I bought and still the best.

I've got Star Wars too and think it's pretty good. The first couple of levels are a bit crap but it improves further in.

Other games I have are Time Splitters (Great but can't get used to the controls), Tekken (Crap but nice graphics) and Silent Scope (Nice but soon bored of it)

I'm still playing PS1 Tomb Raider - The Last Revelation. I love these games and can't wait for the PS2 version.

Zone Of The Enders is pretty good, played the big demo on PlayStation 2 Magazine and may buy that.

Don't know when G.T is out, should have been March as you say...

 

end of may for gt3 a spec ssx sux try timesplitters with four players its almost as good as golden eye..........black and white on the pc is the game of the moment but operation flashpoint is due out next week.....if you think starwars starfighter on the psx2 is poor then wait till you've played star wars battle for naboo on the pc it is without doubt the worst star wars game yet and for me the worst pc game ive ever bought.... hostile waters is another good game but that is a pc game as well.. smiffy if you want borrow a few psx2 games let me know as mine is now in the car i only have ridge racer playin and a gt3 demo so ive got a few you can borrow next time ure over

 

SSX is a great game !

 

Dont own a copy yet only got a PS2 this weekend .. i know i know.

 

Also got Zone of the Enders, Shadow or memmories and SW star fighter all good games.

Oh yeah and y'all keep buying Timesplitters Daddy needs a new set of Turbos :o)

 

p.s GT 3 has just gone Gold in Japan as of today (i.e submitted for production run) so get them import pre orders in all you with Jap spec units. You'll need the practice for when God..aka Nico gets his UK version :)

ive got crazy taxi and yep its ok but limited in appeal as its not got many courses or cars but it does look good what i want to know is will they do soul calibur 2 on the psx2 as it was the bollox onn the dreamcast the best fighting game ever...................for all you older gamers out there remember elite......word is westwood are working on a new space combat/trader game that will not only look better but will be as addictive as elite aahhhhhhhhh who needs gt3 when elite could be making a comeback lol anyone up for a game of revenge of the mutant camels

If you want a real blast get hold of a MAME emulator off the web and download nearly a thousand old coin ops. All free of course, loads of sites with them on, you can get NEO GEO arcade games etc. Scramble, Spaccy Invaders, Lunar Lander, Moon Buggy, Yie-ar-kungfu, Gorf etc. List is endless, and all are original programs that were used in the arcade...TOP BANANA!

Yeah i think ZOne of the Enders is a top game, good story, graphics and action - can be a bit samey but hell its worth the money for me .

 

MAME is top altho slightly illegal - but hell who cares it's all in fun.

This has got me thinking back to some of the old games that must have stoked the interest in the 4-wheeled scene... Driving down to Spain most years with me mam and dad when I was a littlun and playing Out Run in the Costa Brava arcades helped a lot I think! Had that on the Amiga too... um, and the Speccy =) Then there were the various Lotus Esprit games... even Spy Hunter and Trans Am... Ahh those were the days... =)

Ahhh yes, OUTRUN, what a fantastic game that was. I used to play that whilst on a holiday in the New Forest at Shorefields campsite of an evening...whilst Ma and Pa were being entertained in the cabaret lounge watching Mike Reid or someone equally bad. Whilst getting wankered on XXXX and then eating a load of dodgey chicken nuggets and chips and then boffing all down my Don Johnson white Miami Vice outfit...Leo Wanker or what?

I always used to get pole position, Never took my foot off the gas (finger off button) until I saw the Black billboard on the right and then you know to drop it into low gear and you'd make the corner!!

I used to have an 800XL, OMG I forgot all about it.....I used to be addicted to Persius and Andromeda, Text based adventure, Was superb....Completed it....took me months and months to do.

 

Spy V's Spy was a classic too, I used to love the 2 player mode on that, used to have it on the speccy too.

 

I still have my speccy and my old Atari ST was 520 but upgraded to 1040 so I could play Kick Off.....now that was and probably still is the best fun footy game around.....

 

Am going to get the ST out of it's box....I fancy a game of Kick Off.....Now where's that Quick Shot Joystick...

Ok, just because we've done the CBT and passed the nastey, evil, satanic written test and now have to face doing DIRECT ACCESS to get into a GSXR or a Blackbird...
