its ok I guess - no where near as nice as the coupe IMO!

Am surprised they went for a soft top - folding hard tops look so much better IMO & far more modern (& dont give me no weight saving BS for a soft top LOL!) :hammer:

I saw the Nissan Demo 370Z Roadster at Znationals last year. Looks a LOT better in the flesh, but, as with the 350Z, the hard top looks much nicer.

Here's a few photos of them I took at Taladega Raceway in Alabama. The hard top is Z1's demo car and the vert is Nissan's own. I believe this has been crushed since, as it was a pre-production model.

The other white hard top is the Nismo 370Z

Nissans new roadster is a real beauty, better and cheaper than a Porsche Boxter and Mercedes SLK who wants one:yes:on sale from march for your summer fun:cool:

Does look nice.......:thumbup1:

.....and whilst it's cheaper than a Boxster or SLK I'd not say it's better!! Porsche & Merc are much better build quality & finish (as you'd expect for the money). Plus the German cars were designed from the ground up as roadsters; whereas the 370z is compromised, since it is a coupe with the roof chopped off!

For £29k I'd buy a 2 year old SLK350 (ahem:innocent:) or Boxster S over a new 370z - PaulC is right about the metal roof!

But then I am biased............

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Im not a fan of the 370z it may grow on me.

+1

Still think Nissan should have done this...

makes it look like an S2000, I prefer the original.

I don't like the look of the convertable, the rear roof and window line I think is what makes the normal 370z look so good, and that all gets chopped off!

That's much cleaner than what they have already done - less fussy; and better, I reckon......

.....much in the same way a stock Z32 is simple and uncluttered; and, above all, it has aged well:cool3:

I wasn't a fan of the 350z's but i like the new 370z's. I saw a black one at asda the other week, it looked stunning :)
