Whatever happened to this competition?

Seems to have died down?

the members never got involved it was more trouble than it was worth

So will it not be happening again?

I thought it was a really good thing for the fact people put so much money into there zeds and basically i know its not much but lets the owners know there zeds are appreciated and you get alittle something back.

i think there should be a COTM for each regional section and that it is done at a meet . (everyone is given a piece of paper and writes down who they think should win).

Problem that way is there is never many cars at meets is there tho.

So online doing it is quite a good idea.

It has been tried and revived many times, but due to lack of interest, it was shelved.

Maybe we could do a poll to see if there is any renewed interest, however there is a lot of effort involved, but im sure if there is enough interest then Isaac will be able to give it another go.

I agree, COTM is a good thing, just wish more folks would get involved and vote.

I got 3rd one month, even though i didnt win,its a great feeling knowing that people like what you have done to your zed.

It also gets people who wouldnt usually post up much to share their opinion, thus creating more input.

Ok i suppose with the effort an individual does its easy to get pi$$ed off with members not participating.

 

Must admit ever since joining the club and seeing the comp was running i wanted to win it.lol. Get on of those wee trophies.ahaha!

 

I fully agree its a great idea, nice knowing others like your zed etc......

I didnt get involved when it last running, and im affraid i was guilty for that. Although now im proud of my zed, I would be willing to vote again...! lol maybe a weird pride thing?

I thought the comp was a good thing each month but as said it needs the members to make it.

I suppose yeah a pride thing is there. but i know when i had mines i wanted to make it nice to be up there with the top zeds of the club so i was trying to make myself proud of it.

Would be good if there was alot of input from members, on the other hand thats a reason why you pay your subsrciption aswell, to benefit from things like this. If people dont want to take part or vote for zeds then it could just ben run with however many have entered , say a min of 5 and just run the comp as normal.

Irony Joel, i dont think so lol. Its worth gauging interest to make it viable again, which is why it was dropped, very few bothered

i think we need to find a willing member to run it 1st then go from there

I wouldnt be bothered about running it if i dare say that..........but im not sure iwould be to good in setting it all up etc.

i always cast a vote gave me something to work towards with my car just to try get it nominated but as you say more people need to take an interest
