where can I get some fabbed up into various shapes and riveted together? Have an idea but don't really have the time / skill / tools to do myself!

    If you can try and mock up what you want in cardboard first, this will give the person you give the work to a better idea of what you want, try and find a small sheet metal workshop to do the work, as you will get a better response from them.
