ive never seen a badger in the wild before, seen foxes squirrels owls and so on, but not a badger, they can be vicious ive heard

as richard says, id keep feeding it, also let the local council know, they may have a department that deals with these, they can maybe keep a check on it, and dont tell the locals, kids will know and try and hunt for it, or they would round here lol

Capture it and boot it out in the woods or summit :D

Make it repair any damage its done first tho

haha, cool pics Gary... quite a rare sight!

Cool Pics matey... As said they can be a bit vicious but really only if they have no escape... they do carry some diseases so if you have dogs etc. try and keep them away for any of its droppings other than try and look after it... they're getting rarer and to see one in the wild especially your garden is a very rare thing indeed!!! If you get the chance of more pics that would be cool too!!!

They seem to be like rabbits round here- didn't know they had got so rare!

The one who regularly visits my garden is a right pain- droppings all over, digs up half the garden for worms, and smashes his way through any obstacles including the fence!

My mate advises peeing (apparently establishing my territory!) and I've emptied myself many times across his trails through the fence and hedge but I reckon it actually likes the stuff....or he's having me on and is busy snapping away as I do the business!

Anyone got any other ways of 'putting him off'?

Gratefully received...or I'll create a minefield and we'll have a barbeque!

Was thinking not long ago I'd never seen a badger in the wild alive, only ever at the side of the road with tyre prints over it.

Then a week or so ago had to swirve to miss hitting one, my first live badger sighting! :D

See them around here all the time. One run after my dad a few weeks back up a hill. Dad was sh1t scared but it was so funny

I do a lot of night time mountainbiking, always coming across them, they

go for the lights like rabbits do, they can run like feck too when they have

to!
